Recently, EarFun released the Air Pro 4 which continues the path of the Air Pro 3 and brings a long list of features for a budget price. It has Bluetooth 5.4, support for aptX Adaptive, LDAC, and SBC, and uses Qualcomm’s QCC3091 chipset. It also introduces an upgraded ANC system called QuietSmart 3.0 with up to 50 dB of reduction, together with a game mode for ultra-low latency. The battery life goes up to 11 hours on a single charge, and with the case it reaches around 52 hours. At this price it even includes wireless charging and multipoint, but does it use them to the same effect?

This is a standard design for EarFun, and it doesn’t distinguish itself from other items in its selection. A pair of simple, budget earbuds don’t need to look any different than this though, and it works for its sustainable comfort level.

The case is small, supports USB-C and wireless charging, and the earbuds feel light with a smooth finish. If you don’t find AirPods comfortable, then the Air Pro 4 might not be for you, but I find they actually feel more secure.

If you want affordable earbuds that combine strong ANC, long battery life, codec support, and low latency for gaming or video, the Air Pro 4 is one of the best options available right now. It is not perfect, but for the price it is hard to find more value in a pair of true wireless earbuds.
